There is a local Post Office about 15 minutes away, local recycle center about 10 minutes away, all schools within a 15 minute drive from this home. There are 3 hospitals withing 25-40 minutes from this home (Ahoskie, NC; Franklin, VA; and Suffolk Obici near Suffolk City). There are local gas stations and several convenience stores within a 10-15 minute drive from this home as well. The difference from living here and within Hamptons Roads is you are not stuck in traffic or waiting at lights to get to your shopping or medical centers. Commuting is less stressful and much more enjoyable! I easily and quickly adjusted to the area in terms of driving to shopping and medical facilities... wait in traffic for the same amount of time it takes in Hampton Roads to get to your destination or drive the same amount of time to get to your destination in a relaxed state of mind.
