Our experience at KLES so far has been very positive. My family moved to Tallahassee and researched many areas before making the decision on where to live, based mainly on the schools my children would attend. The teachers, administration, and staff are all very friendly and I have been overwhelmed so far with the amount of communication I've received from their classroom teachers, which is WAAAYYYY more than the school in our prior state. I love that my kids get to receive instruction in several different "specials," including art, music, PE, and guidance every day of the week. My kids are happy to go to school every day, and they continue to have their love of learning fostered.

This School is Really bad if you want to have your child home every time He or Her gets. referal with from the teacher then this is the school for you.When i switched my daughter to monfort she started getting better grades dont send your Child to this school.

Chiles, unlike many high schools in the state, is a true public school that takes all students in the area and even students outside of the zoned area if there is availability in the school district's school choice option, while other counties and high schools use lottery systems and magnet programs. To this point, Chiles always ranks in the top tier for high schools in the state even though their student population is not cherry-picked or specialized. Chiles offers a wide array of accelerated courses, career technical courses, and classes for students with special needs. The administration is present, and the principal is visible at almost any and all clubs and activities that are available for attendance. Despite there being a shortage of teachers, I always felt like my child had strong teachers and teachers who cared. If ever there was an issue, I brought it to the administration's attention, and it was handled expeditiously. If students don't like sports or other typical high school activities, there are many clubs to join. Chiles has a "club rush" twice a year where students can get information from club leaders and see if they want to join anything from the Art Club to the Bass Fishing Club. In terms of safety, I appreciate that the school took the lead and implemented Anonymous Alerts, an app that allows students to anonymously report various safety issues or concerns to the administration, providing a more comfortable alternative to simply approaching a teacher or visiting the principal's office. All in all, Chile is a wonderful place to send your kids, and there is no private school fee for doing so outside of the taxpayer dollars that already support the school.
