3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is easily the best because it’s one of the few places that actually treats you like a person. The energy here is just different it’s not a stressed-out or fake environment; it’s a place where the teachers actually have your back and the community is real. You can tell the people running the building know what they’re doing because the day-to-day vibe is always solid and respectful. It’s the kind of school where you can actually find your lane and enjoy the time you spend here. If you’re looking for a spot that values its students and has a culture you actually want to be a part of, this is the only choice.Parent Review3mo ago19 Reviews - Cranbury Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful neighborhood school with an extremely responsive, caring principal and staff, both my kids are doing great at Fox Run. The PTO is very active and plans a lot of fun activities for keeping families engaged with the school community. The kids have opportunities to play in the orchestra, band, be in the school musical, and participate in a variety of afterschool activities. Before/after care with the Carver organization is caring and enriching.Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Kendall Elementary School

Playground is small and open to the outside which was so concerning. Can go on and on…..We got uncomfortable and had to switch schools!Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Marvin Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I look at these reviews, I notice they're so old and from parents. I am a student at this school and this a great school. Our current principal won national principal of the year, and he's great. The staff are amazing and people actually care. I would totally recommend this school, especially if you're into technology, but even if you aren't, like me, the school is still amazing and has many class options for you. Ponus is a really good school.Student Review3mo ago13 Reviews - Roton Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended Rowayton School for six years, and I can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful school! The teachers, support staff, and administration go above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming environment for every student. The diverse student community is filled with amazing kids and supportive families who are committed to ensuring teachers and students have the resources they need. Advanced learners are challenged and encouraged to go beyond the standard curriculum, while students with special needs are lovingly embraced in classrooms by both peers and staff.Opportunities for enrichment extend beyond the school day through the “After-the-Bell” and Rowayton Academy programs. Children can explore chess, languages, coding, yoga, advanced math, and more in these engaging sessions. The PTA and families work tirelessly throughout the year to strengthen the school community, offering countless opportunities for parents and caregivers to get involved and build lasting relationships for both children and families.I wholeheartedly recommend Rowayton School without hesitation—it will always hold a special place in our hearts!Parent Review8mo ago13 Reviews - Silvermine Dual Language Magnet School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you’re looking for a school that has mastered the art of doing absolutely nothing, you’ve found it. To say this place is a mess would be an insult to messes. The leadership is completely checked out, the communication is non-existent, and the atmosphere feels more like a waiting room than a place of learning. It’s actually impressive how little anyone cares here from the broken facilities that never get fixed to the constant feeling that you’re just a number in a spreadsheet. This isn't an environment where students thrive; it’s an environment where you just try to survive until the final bell rings. Save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else. Zero stars wouldn't even be low enough. I'm transferring my kid to Ponus Ridge.Parent Review3mo ago3 Reviews - Wolfpit Integrated Arts Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter who is in second grade has had an amazing experience thus far at Wolfpit. There is an incredible community of parents and a supportive staff that brings joy each day to the students. There are many wonderful events throughout the year attended by teachers, families and students. The school notably has skilled teachers who go above and beyond to meet the students needs. We are thankful to be part of the Wolfpit Pack!Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 238 Ely Ave.

"We’ve lived in Norwalk since 2019 and really love it here! The beach is fantastic, the parks are lovely, so many easy access to shops, and a plethora of amazing restaurants, not to mention activities for kids. The only downside for me is systemic issues with BoE and quality of schools."

"There are great educational opportunities in the area which includes a Magnet School. The neighbourhood is in walking distance to downtown entertainment, local parks, waterfronts, and the transit (bus and/or train) are easily accessible. There is a variety of religious institutions no matter your beliefs. The hospital and police station are close by. More importantly, what gives this town its charm is the people. A diverse community of individuals who found a way to blend their cultural differences to make a place feel like home. "
