About this House

This is a darling starter or retirement home. It was overhauled in 2008. Upgrades included a new roof (complete with boxing and gutters), new vinyl siding, new windows (selected with ease of cleaning in mind), an expanded front living room, a new 7x14 covered front porch, faux-wood laminate flooring throughout bedrooms and living room along with vinyl throughout the utility room, bathroom and kitchen. In addition to these upgrades, custom cabinets have been added in the utility room and bathroom, along with a hall pantry Just off of the kitchen. In 2013, the kitchen was replaced with custom cabinets in order to add a dishwasher and built-in refrigerator.
This home has incredible charm which can not be easily replicated. Three inch tongue-and-groove boards serve as walls and ceilings in the majority of rooms. Wide window and door casings and three inch crown moulding complete the quaint charm of this vintage home. Beyond the home its self, there are two other buildings in the property. A 16X16 wired, vinyl-clad workshop with cement floor and 16x21 metal-clad equipment barn add extra storage for yard implements, tools and other projects.
Spacious side-by-side dog kennels, an out-door stone fire pit, area for a garden, blueberry, fig, persimmon, and pecan trees round out a lovely place to call home.
