I used to love this school, but that quickly changed last year after just a few months. Zero communication between teachers and parents. They expect a 7 year old to be the middle person for all communication. Assignment notebooks are great, but when they're used as the only means for contacting parents when there are concerning incidents at school/correspondence in general it doesn't work well. Since when is emailing/phone calls not an option? I'm not sure if every teacher is like this, our daughters certainly was.

"I feel safe in this neighborhood. The community treats the area with full respect and care. Living outside the bigger cities is much more relaxed. Its really amazing to hear children laughing and birds chirping outside my residence, unlike the sound of sirens and people honking their horns in the bigger cities. The fresh water lakes and awesome beaches top our community off like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae."

"Oconomowoc has the charm of a small town with the proximity to large town activities. Frequent festivals and family activities make living here fun. A park and walking/biking trail are outside your door. Nearby lakes offer water activities. Schools are excellent, and the people are friendly. It's home. Ahh."
