"Not a lot of children, it is largely retirees and second home owners. Alligators are everywhere and you’d have to keep a close eye on small children. Lots of wildlife in the area. "
  • Trulia User
"It has tourist crowd in summer and people from Northeast have created population increase, but it is a good place to live "
  • Trulia User
"Idk don’t live here. It’s quiet not a lot of other dogs barking?? "
  • Trulia User
"4th of July golf cart parade, property owners association discounts for cable and trash pick up, community beach cleanup days twice a year"
  • Trulia User
"Not applicable because I am retired. However, there is no public transportation available, you need a car to get to stores, restaurants, doctor appointments, etc. Health care is difficult to access. Many physicians not accepting new patients, for those accepting new patients it may take 2-6 months for first appointment, specialists are scarce and many people go to MUSC in Charleston for specialists."
  • Trulia User
"I am retired and therefore don’t commute anywhere on a regular basis. All of the essential needs are available within a 30 mile radius. Traffic has steadily worsened each year due to increased development"
  • Trulia User
"I’m just visiting and first time here. The beach is beautiful and the litchfield inn is directly on the beach. Restaurants and bar, two pools. We saw hundreds of starfish, squid and stingray. Just wonderful."
  • Blgreenan
"A very dog friendly area, but no open spaces other than the beach. Dogs aren’t allowed off leash between 7am and 7pm."
  • Barbara A.
"4th of July Celebration Beautiful days at the Beach Watching the surfers Kayaking the creek side Restaurant choices Live music "
  • Kristy C.
"This area is perfect. It’s cozy and comfortable and very laid back. People are kind, friendly and helpful. It’s a very home town kind of feel with access to the best beaches in South Carolina. The sand are soft and fluffy and well taken care of with beautiful dunes and grasses. The inlets and piers are just as beautiful. But like anywhere else the mosquitoes are you worst enemy. "
  • Kristy C.
"Lots of dogs and pet stores. Great beach for dogs. No leash after 7pm. Peaceful happy place. ............................."
  • Susan K.
"Advocate for sidewalks on 17 too dangerous to commute to school by foot or bicycle. Water safety is important, on line boater safety available. "
  • Jayson P.
"Lovely area to walk your dog and lots of dog owners in the area. They are currently planning a dog park in the area as well. "
  • Wheeljr55
"Lots of safe and level neighborhoods that are ideal for walking. Moderate climate 10 months per year and mild winter. "

  • Jennifer B.
"Fairly typical for this area. Traffic is of course worse in the summer months. I travel from PI to Georgetown back to surfside in the mornings. "
  • Phail O.
"Dogs love the natural surroundings and the safe streets they’re walked on. Play areas sometimes, when owners choose to meet."
  • Renee C
"Once you get to route 17 smooth sailing. quite the commute out to stores in myrtle beach to local stores very accessible "
  • Lululiny
"This is a safe neighborhood for children. The pool area is always clean. People are friendly. Pawleys Place is managed well. The two issues I had were remedied in a reasonable period of time. "
  • Merrittlynne
"Quiet area and little traffic, yards are kept up and if you walk around everyone is friendly and helpful. "
  • Gmdelaney
"I visit this area once a year and will eventually relocate here! Beautiful beaches, nice golf communities and fantastic weather year round!"
  • Talk2leif
"Has gotten much worst over the last 10 years. Traffic has grown beyond control and the traffic lights are out of control. In some areas you can see 3 sets of light within one mile "
  • Wynkdo
"True Blue is a thinly funded community with many structural and community property issues. If you buy in True Blue make sure you have a copy of the community reserve study. "
  • Unspecified
"My neighborhood has become the worst,,,IT used to be nice now it’s aweful,,True Blue Caladonia has truly gone down,,,looking to move soon."
