"A lot of the people around here have kids themselves so a lot of people will look out for the kids around here."

"I see people out and about walking their dogs quite frequently. For the most part, people have their dogs on leashes and under control. There are a FEW people who do not abide by leash laws and do not clean up after them. You will always find a few of those. I have lived in Midland practically all my life and on the few occasions when I have moved to a different part of town, have ALWAYS found people to be friendly and helpful to new neighbors."
