"There isn’t really any public transportation but there are a lot of things in town, a lot of people walk to like the grocery store and the shops. But we don’t really have any major corporations to work for so most jobs you have to drive for. "

"Ligonier is a family-friendly town. The people are friendly and helpful. The town is historic and well-maintained. Fort Ligonier is a wonderful place for families to teach their children about early life. The town is surrounded by beautiful farmland and state parklands. Restaurants and entertainment can be found in Ligonier and nearby Latrobe. The Latrobe Airport, named for golf legend, Arnie Palmer, has frequent flights to East Coast vacation spots and an outstanding Italian restaurant, DeNunzios. You cannot go wrong visiting, living, or retiring in Ligonier, PA."
