I got a detention for being late ONCE in the first week of school and the male students In the school harass us females. It got to the point i didn't even want to wake up to go to school. First, each for two years of preschool (provided through TCESC), now in 1st and 2nd grades.Many teachers are Girard graduates and can appear quite clique-y at first, but are truly nice people who do a great job for students. The pandemic has revealed some of the best and worst in some teachers, but, overall, I am happy with the way things have been handled.Administration seems competent and does a good job keeping parents up to date with what is happening. We receive an “all call” every Sunday at 6 pm about the upcoming week and additional calls as necessary.In addition to these things, there are literacy and stem nights, a VERY active PTO presence, and staff that is kind and caring.Parent Review5y ago - Girard Intermediate Middle School
