6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBethel High school is a great school overall. Only had 1 major problem with a teacher that plays favorites with the students and makes it very known who his favorites are, which was taken care of very fast with the Asst principal. Overall the school is great, and the whole staff cares about the students. Some teachers love the help from the teachers with their students, a few will not give you the time of day and tell you that its 100% on your student which makes it hard to help the student.. The school does have afterschool tutoring that dose help.Parent Review3y ago16 Reviews - Centennial Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe special education program needs more support and funding. I feel that they are overworked, short staffed, and is in need of para educators. It is not a good feeling to know your child is in a program to get them up to speed when the support isn't there, the level of support isn't adequate, and kids are paying the price. I really don't know where to put ratings on the school & teachers because there are so many holes that need to be filled before making a complete judgement of the school. This isn't school specific necessarily but a common and hugely neglected aspect of education.Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Cougar Mountain Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school for 7th and 8th last year so I can give a firsthand experience. The teachers were okay, there were a few teachers who actually try to do the right thing and are respectful, but most of them either targets other students or they’re just bad teachers. Campus safety was just a waste of time and they would never let the other student talk, thinking they know the whole story. I got tired of going in there real quick. Not to mention the new associate administrator, she suspended us for one kiss. Not like no others are doing the same but get off scot free but whatever. The teachers were big on discipline but not to teach us what we did is wrong or to show how to do otherwise, no matter your involvement in a problem they’re gonna give you consequences for basically nothing. You’re probably a parent thinking of sending your kid here, if they’re in the special group then it’s a good program. MOST of the kids are nice to them but if they have trigger words then watch out. I would say to sum it all up is the sports are good, foods alright, nice librarian. I even got my name on the library plaque for 2024! But honestly the learnings not the best here but all the extra curricular things are good.Other Review1y ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 236th St E.

"I know of a neighborhood clean up but no special events held in our neighborhood. The schools often have fun events for kids to come and have fun which I think is awesome for the kids to come and see the different events being held. "

"Great. Meridian is smooth sailing. I leave work at 2 to get home by 5:30. Most days it takes me 2.5 hours to get home from Seattle. Traffic is horrible around here. But who can afford to live close to I-5"

"There are Coyotes in our neighborhood, some small pets have disappeared, we lost two dogs and two outdoor cats since we’ve lived here for 12+ years. The two dogs were killed by our neighbors dog, right after they moved in ? Pretty sure the Coyotes got our cats ?"

"There are none, with exception to some private parties if your invited ? We have met a few of our neighbors, by selling chicken and duck eggs to them. Our area isn’t perfect, we have a few spoiled brats and irresponsible people in our neighborhood, but, they eventually get caught by the pierce county sheriffs! "

"This area is exceptional for the acreage and homes. The homes were built in 1992 and remain top of the line construction. These homes were built as custom construction homes from Shur Brothers constructionSchools are excellent, lots of wildlife in the neighborhood. Close to schools, walking paths, restaurants and shopping, community involvement is HIGH over all Excellent condition. "
