Archbold elementary is the only school for my kids! Wonderful, caring teachers with a passion to help my children grow into great men and women!

All five of my children attend Archbold schools and two of them are in high school. The quality teachers and education they are getting is top notch!

This school is ok... as a student I see it all and wow, it's a lot. The middle school just had a change in counselors and it is bad. Our old counselor actually cared and helped with problems and if she was busy she would get to us as soon as possible. We also have a study table during recess and she was always willing to help us even if she didn't understand the material and would cheer us up. On the other hand our new counselor is... something. She seems to not care about all the students and has favorites (popular girls) and from the experiences I've had with her, she was somewhat rude.Another topic is the students. This school is literally a teen drama movie from the 1990s. We have the popular kids, nerds, sport kids/athletes, gross kids, etc, etc. A lot of the kids here are rude, really cringey, are snotty, and racist.. especially my grade and the grade below me. I know kids in middle school are the WORST worldwide but come on.. the kids here aren't as bad as some other schools but oh my god the kids here SCARE ME.Also, an extra topic is the lunch food. Yes this school does have extra snacks you may purchase but that's not even the problem, it the lunch itself. Personally I don't buy school lunch I pack but oh. my. god! My friends all buy the school lunch and multiple times the school fruit cups have been literal rocks/ice cubes, the meat has been undercooked (raw, and also we know this because it was BRIGHT PINK and still had some blood which was absolutely disgusting), and once when we were eating, someone saw a bug. An actual living, crawling bug in the food. ANother thing I can add about the cafeteria is that when you have study hall (where you go work on late work to finish it up) the principal/new counselor/staff in the study hall area will usually come up to you while your eating still and tell you to go back there and work (usually its near the end of lunch but they won't even let you finish eating/force you to start working). Personally i'm a slow eater so when I have study hall I am really hungry and they usually don't let you eat during study hall so that sucks too.One more thing i can add about this school is religion. A lot of kids are Christian here (and personally, I don't know what I believe in so I just don't believe in anything currently). Not that being Christian is bad, it's just a lot of kids expect everyone to be Christian too so whenever you say your not you basically are being told by students that you need to. 3.5 stars!!
