This school is awesome and does not deserve the negative comments from issues with previous administration from its first year. The teachers and administrators care deeply about helping kids reach their potential and academic achievement is improving each year. It is difficult to combine schools and work out all the logistical issues. There is a great school culture with incredible music, arts, trades, and athletics. There is also advanced classes for students who are ready for that challenge. Overall, you should feel fine, as a parent, sending your student to Vel.

Each child is given individual attention. Mrs. Kiffmeyer listens to the children and takes each childs concern etc to heart. Best school I have ever been to.
