Harwood Elementary is a hidden gem ! ! Their class STAR scores are at the top of any in North Dakota. Harwood elementary and Northern Cass school are the top in the Fargo Moorhead area ! ! My son attended grades 2-5. My son was a GATE ( Gifted And Talented Education) student and needed other GATE students to push him. He was open enrolled. 33% of his class tested into GATE, which is literally unheard of. Harwood Elementary is a National Blue Ribbon of Excellence TWICE. The latest was 2019.Class sizes are 16-20, total enrollment is consistently between 120-130 students in grades K-5. The teachers truly care and have been handpicked by the principal to be the best available in the area. If your student is struggling the support they receive is unmatched in the F-M area. Student learning is ahead of schools in the area, and equal to Northern Cass.As a parent I have spent hours in the classroom, class trip chaperone, and as an active PTO member. Parent engagement / support is FAR above anything you will find in the larger schools in the area.It was an excellent experience for my son, at a school where EVERY teacher, administrator, and para knew each child's name.Overall an excellent experience for my son and me ! ! !

As a current student only good team Orion my teachers are nice but yk and they care for you and this school ruins meant health.

And the sports is a joke...smh .... If you're I'll call her you will have issues at the school.
