    Description

Listed for sale is a property situated near Crawfordsville and close to Shades State Park, making it an attractive spot for a weekend getaway camping spot, building your forever dream home, or for building a small business in a good location. The land was previously utilized as a livestock pasture, and it certainly could continue to be just that if you are looking for a small remote pasture to keep your livestock. The property includes a well and well house, which was functional in the past. However, it is important to consider that the well dried up in 2022, so some investigation and possible repair or alternative water supply may be needed. This tract already has electric on the property, which is very beneficial for someone looking to build a permanent camping site, cabin, or home. Having State Road frontage can be a significant advantage for potential business ventures, providing easy access and visibility to passing traffic. This property is a blank slate and ready for its new owner!

"Pike Place was built in the middle of downtown Crawfordsville, and it has organized events every weekend or every first saturday in the summer and throughout the year. There's plenty of events for various groups and typically music and vendors. They also support local businesses using Pike Place and events downtown to attract customers. There's also the flea market and since it's still a small town feel, neighbors are usually willing to help. "
    • Loganmyers17
"I’ve lived here on and off throughout my life and I feel safe here and has enjoyed raising my family here. "
    • Macieshsf
"Crawfordsville is a small town, so you get some of that feel, but it's also "up and coming" if you will. We're slowly growing and getting more businesses and jobs. Still waiting for more variety of restaurants but for the size we have a really good amount! The schools are really good, especially compared to South Carolina schools. Definitely more academic and higher standards. Nice small town to have a family. "
    • Cdeedrick1
"We have lived in Crawfordsville our entire lives as children then came back after college to raise our children as adults. The small town feel is perfect for raising kids"
    • Mpriebe
"17 minute drive one way. It is a very easy commute. Roads are in good shape but need the usual repairs after winter"
    • Arisha B.
"I don’t like the community nor do I care for the people in it. It has come to be filled with druggies "
    • Shanah T.
"We have so many fun things to do around our small town and shops and for the most part the people are friendly, feel very safe and I think its a great place for kids to grow up at a nice slow pace!"
    • Bertha R.

"We live along a busy highway just outside of Crawfordsville. We have neighbors on both sides and we talk to them when we see them outside or other places that we all frequent. We also have wildlife in our yard. We had wild turkeys last summer that brought 7 of their young with them. We also have deer. We just saw 2 fawns this week.We have an open field with grass and then woods behind it."
