Propane tanks are most commonly used in this area for your heating needs.

This area was originally a housing site for the Air Force Base. But in 1951 the name was changed to Edwards and the base was renamed to Edwards AFB. Areas of interest to visit are the Air Force Test Museum and the worlds largest Compass Rose.

"One convenience store, one restaurant. Very peaceful place to live. Far from any major stores, closest hardware and grocery stores are in Mojave/California City. 20+ minutes to Highway 395. Always quiet, minimal traffic. West neighborhood is 'the slums,' middle section all have large lots, and all are single family type homes. East neighborhood have somewhat smaller lots."
