"I walk my dog and see many others doing the same. All on leash and very friendly. The sidewalks are all maintained well and all of my neighbors keep their yards nice."
  • Jwbwhks226
"We have lived here for nineteen years. The homes are well built, it is safe for families and retired and the people help each other when needed. "
  • Mdutton33
"There are plenty of sidewalks and everyone usually picks up after their dogs. Polite neighbors that usually say “hi” when you go by."
  • Gary Bock
"We have lived here for 18 years. It’s like living in the country. Scenic view of the Red River, shopping nearby. "
  • Mdutton33
"It’s quiet and no one bothers me. Good neighborhood for dog walking. I feel pretty safe here. I don’t have small children, so I can’t really comment on that."
  • Dyviniti
"Annual Block Party. Fireworks display. Concordia and Minnesota State Moorhead sporting and cultural events. "
  • Dyviniti
"Public transportation is outside my door. If I needed or decided to use the bus it would be very convenient. Connecting routes are within 10 to 15 minutes with transfers easily available. Downside: No bus on Sunday."
  • Steven S.
"Dog owners would like the network of walkable neighborhoods, parks, and green spaces to walk their dogs. The Moorhead Parks department keeps an ample supply of doggy waste bags on hand, so the pet owners may easily clean up after their pets."
  • Steven S.
"Several neighbors have lived in our neighborhood for more than 40 years. We have been in the neighborhood 33 years."
  • Trulia User
"There are wonderful neighbors who always help when you need it. Quiet neighborhood with parks nearby."
  • Katelyn D.
"There aren't very many dog parks in Moorehead. If you don't mind driving to Fargo for a dog park then great! I like to drive to Buffalo River State Park when the weather is nice. "
  • Msg381
"Scenic and mature trees near river. Lots of local parks in walking distance. Friendly neighbors with well maintained yards."
  • Katelyn D.
"For dogs there are lots of places to walk on the leash but no good dog parks to run and play in. Fargo is close and has a couple ok ones that are a 10-15 minute drive. Buffalo state park is close too, 20 minutes in I-94!"
  • Goatsare4girls
"It’s conveniently located. People are nice. Things are pretty new in the neighborhood. Schools are close. Lots of animal lovers. Good lighting. Parking is good. Lots of friends love or work close by. "
  • Haneen S.
"I live in this area for 4 years and I see a lot of kids playing outside with out a parent and it is save area "
  • Susan H.
"Cozy quiet street on a pond and bike trails. quick access to interstate and highway 10. smack dab in middle of elementary and middle school ( less than 3 blocks away)"
  • Mike c.
"The roads are garbage and the people are rude and passive-aggressive. My car has been broken into and stolen from twice. Saw a motorcycle get stolen and stripped by some guys in the apartment down the block. Moving far far far away from this dump. "
  • jolee
"Not a fan, but it’s temporary so is what it is. Loud cars, people up at all hours in garages. Dogs barking, always - and not on leashes while being walked. Trains sound like they are in your house they are so loud. "
  • T
"Not like, a lot of owners do not leash their dogs or clean up after them. My current neighborhood is full of arrogant individuals who are easily offended by telling them to clean up after their pets or use common sense - and have made our experience coming back to moorhead very regrettable. The school has gotten horrible so think twice about it. Research - research "
  • Suzy H
"Community theater, bike trails, close to lakes area, close to Fargo High job opportunity, low un employment. Ponds and bike trails throughout city and in backyard. "
  • Jerome O.
"very friendly environment, well designed for easy traffic flow. trails for biking and walking. a large venue of restaurants and pubs. love this place."
  • Sarah g. k.
"Very dog friendly. Many people walking their pets. But not a lot of people have fences so many pets are left outside on leashes braking!"
  • C a. C.
"July 4th fireworks. outdoor concerts at Bluestem in South Moorhead. Family's, lots of new Americans adding culture, and soccer. I enjoy watching them enjoy a safe area to play, a warm hom and good schools. This thanks to Lutheran solcial services. a broad mix of people living in relative harmony with good city busses, and help from MN for those in need. "
  • Tiwahl7
"near universities so some students. however, no problems and they are usually helpful. lots of large trees and friendly neighbors. "
