"There are some local jobs. However, the best paying jobs are an hour or more commute. The only public transportation is in the next town over. "
  • Shaw.dehlia
"Safe environment, good education, out door activities, good home, clean air Good neighborhood and good neighbors "
  • gary g.
"The beach is gradual and sandy. The neighbors are hardly ever there. There is a great fire pit. Boats are protected from the lake winds since you are in cove but not so far in the cove that you deal with weeds or mucky water. The sand goes out far enough so you dont worry about weeds. Kids can fish right off the dock as there are rocks to one side and weeds further out. The front camp is more of a small house then camp. The back camp is more 'campy' , but has been very comfortable for us for all 3x rentals. Get lobsters at Naples Lobster Pound on RT 302, 1 mile south of the Causway. Look for the eagles nest .. from camp leave on the lake by boat, go to the right about 1/3 of a mile is a very small island where we saw them Aug 2012. You will love the front camp's porch, great view of the lake and a great place to read / play games. When we rented it came with a canoe, 2 kayaks:1 big single person and 1 small person one. and sqaure 'row boat' that keept our kids very well entertained. They took it out 100 feet and fished. There is no moring but the dock seemed very safe for my 21 foot bowrider. The public boat launch is 3 miles away in Harrison. I meet the lady who ownes it with her brother, very nice lady, makes her own jewlery. We forgot to ask if the water was prtable but I drank it without any issues. The camps ar every close to the end of the dead end so the traffic going by is very minimal. You will find casual walks on the 1/2 mile camp road a little hilly, bu tnot too bad. Both camps came with satelite TV. If yo overstuff the fridge you will block the air from circulating and think the fridge is not working, don't block the air flow and you will have no issues. The camp needs another trash can or two. Both camps have a gas grill and the front is a Webber. Both camps have a pull out couches that we used in prior years but I dont recall if they were comfortable. the back camp has a bed on teh proch, which I used during a hot night."
