Beutel is hands down one of the best schools in the district. This school is not only a great school but a stepping stone for higher learning. The staff is amazing and there is always someone there to answer any questions you might have. They love parent volunteers and welcome any and all help! My mother went to Beutel when she was younger, my brother and I went to Beutel, and now my daughter goes there so we have loved it for many decades! The PTO is wonderful and is always looking for ways to make our school better and they love our kids like their own! We have such a great community at Beutel!

The cheer coach is so toxic and do not treat the cheerleaders good at all, as a mother of a high schooler I am disappointed. The pure favoritism of the teachers is very obvious. I have come to hear multiple story’s of bullying, yet, nothing is done by the incompetent teacher. The current cheerleaders, as of now, are toxic as a result (specifically varsity).

Unfortunately, education is no longer a priority. Teachers do not have the vocation or patience to be educators or deal with children, and I understand that it may be due to their poor salary or employment conditions. The students rarely have homework or use notebooks and basically computers are our new educators. Teaching is a profession that is not for everyone since not only is a class being taught, a new generation is being educated and that is the problem

Incident happened today where I called school at 12 pm, 4 hours prior to school let out time, telling the office staff that my son would ride his bike home today, to surprise him with further responsibility with a note/walkie talkie with directions and they confirmed. Waited for my son, couldn’t find him. Drove to school, went to the bike line, his bike was still there, questioned staff where he was the staff was extremely rude and not helpful until one teacher (Mrs. Cooper) helped me and after 15 minutes we found him, in the car rider line. Finally got my son, then they proceeded to tell him that he could not ride his bike across the campus because part of the bike is “motorized” so my son had to push it across the campus and then I was finally able to retrieve him. Poor communication, negligence on their part for not informing my son after they had confirmed they would, very unacceptable and such poor leadership.
