This school is the best high school to go in the whole state. I went to hobbs high school when i moved to new mexico but i didnt like it at all. When we moved to clovis i could feel a great vibe in the town. The athletics programs are awesome especially football. the band is great, they go to competitions all over the u.s. The teachers actually care for you and try to build a relationship with you but due to the high amount of kids there they only get a 75% relationship going.

We have had an awesome experience at Parkview! My children love it there! We know of some parents/students who have had issues with the school for various reasons. However, anytime we have had an issue (academic or behavior), we talk to the teachers and the issue is usually resolved quickly. We feel that the teachers, principals, and staff truly care about the students and try to help them succeed. My children are involved with after school activities (music, art, STEM team) and they really enjoy these programs. We are also looking forward to the new building which is under construction now.

We're a military family.My child came from an A+ charter school in a previous state.My child was an "A" student and made the honor roll many times throughout elementary school and middle school.My child was enthusiastic and motivated and loved public school.I was excited to know that there was a separate Freshman Academy in Clovis.However, the first few weeks of school turned drastically wrong.I found out that there was a mass exodus of math teachers in the district.Unfortunately, my child received a math teacher who had never had a professional teaching course, much less a teaching degree (teacher had a degree in business).The first two weeks of my child's math class was taught by a substitute teacher.The next two weeks were taught by the new math teacher who showed how to do geometry to honor students via a slideshow.According to my child, the classroom was unorganized and the teacher out of her league.The geometry teacher NEVER went over homework the next day and would take 5 to 8 days to grade the homework papers.I wish I could say that's all I had to deal with but the English, Science, and History teacher had numerous issues as well.We're looking into homeschooling.

I highly don't recommend to come to this school cause they don't do anything they let kids get away with smoking and drinking but only care about grades and fights, and they have favoritism with some kids letting the boys get away with everything but girls would get in trouble making it actually sexist.
