About this House

Newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home across street from Clapp park. House includes 832 square foot (26' X 32') metal building with 12'w X 8' overhead door and electrical service. This building would be ideal as any type of shop or storage facility. It could also be rented to someone who needs a shop. Items that have been remodeled, updated, and/or replaced include: New central heat and air with 10 yr warranty; new tile and fixtures in bathrooms; new breaker box/electrical panel, switches, outlets and partially updated wiring; new light fixtures and five ceiling fans; new washer/dryer hookups; new kitchen counter tops, dishwasher, range, and vent hood; new interior and front doors and carpet. Interior and exterior completely repaired and repainted with new metal fascia. LCAD has house undervalued because previous owner protested annually and the house was in very poor condition. Current price is only $61/foot not counting large metal shop in back which should be worth at least $25K.

"Ive lived in this house since I was 14yrs old and I'm 40yrs old now-although the crime rate as spiked a bit I still appreciate the close knit friendships I have with my neighbors some of which have lived here much longer than I have. Once you get to know a few of the neighbors you can see that it's a great place for your family as well as yourself. I'll truly miss it and can only help we are blessed with great neighbors like the ones I have now. "
