Buffalo Elementary used to be a good place to go to school. I was a student when the current "state of the art" facility was under construction, and it started going downhill after that. I will admit that the facility is nice, but that is really the only positive thing I can say. My main issue with this school (along with Freeport Area School District and public education as a whole) is their over emphasis on preparation for the standardized tests. If your child is a "learning support" or a "gifted" student, he/she will be very unhappy here. The junior high and high school are not much better either.

"Easy access to 28. From there you have access to all shopping you could need, and can be downtown Pittsburgh with in 25 minutes."

"I lived in this neighborhood for just short of 4 years. Great community to raise children, great schools. Good location to RT 28 & City of Pittsburgh. Sarver has just about everything thing you have in a community in a big city. Movie theater, Restaurant ‘s, car wash etc"
