I had to have conferences with the principal and the teacher because of the constant bullying FROM THE SAME CHILD and the teacher turning a blind eye SEVERAL TIMES. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m extremely disappointed with how Ed White High School handled a recent incident involving my younger sister.A staff member repeatedly misgendered my sister after being corrected and later referred to her as transgender. This was disrespectful not only to my sister, but also to the broader LGBTQ+ community. Educators are expected to de-escalate situations and model professionalism — not escalate or demean students.What’s most troubling is that my sister was disciplined immediately and multiple times, while the adult involved faced no visible accountability. This creates the appearance of bias and raises serious concerns about how student complaints are handled versus how staff behavior is addressed.Instead of focusing on accountability and transparency, the school’s response felt dismissive and defensive. That erodes trust between families and the institution that’s supposed to protect and educate children.I hope the administration reflects on this situation, takes appropriate corrective action, and prioritizes respect, fairness, and student well-being moving forward.Other Review4mo ago
