3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was decent up until last year. I feel it has been nit picking. The rules only apply when they want them too. But your suppose to accept how the they hand out discipline. last year my son was asked to sign something stating he understood what his punishment for, when do we allow children under the age of 18 to sign for ANYTHING without a adult?? I told my child to NEVER sign anything with out me being there, jif this means they have to wait then so be it but his signature is to never be on anything with out me being present. Even talk with the superintendent she couldn't tell me where in their rules it said students under 18 are allowed to sign, I knew she wouldn't find it cause your not allowed to do it BY LAW!!.. be careful sending your children here and if you do please keep a watchful eye.Parent Review7y ago4 Reviews - Crenshaw Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePCMS is the perfect blend. Our son is thriving academically, but also spends time learning about the world, art, and music. Best of all, he's allowed to move! The Montessori environment allows kids to work at his/her own pace and learn independence.Parent Review4y ago25 Reviews - Choices Alternative School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from Choices in 2006. I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to complete my high school education. I was not heading down the right path and Choices gave me an opportunity to correct and excel in life. 13 years later and I am a successful IT Professional in the Army with an Associates degree, multiple industry certifications, 2 articles published in technical journals, and 3 classes away from completing my B.S in Cyber Security. Choices truly gave me an opportunity to change my life.Other Review6y ago1 Reviews - Canton Arts Academy @ Summit

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was encouraged to bring my child to this school for the CHAP program. There is nothing accelerated at this school with the exception of 30 minus of "intense" at the end of a day. Children are not encouraged in their own strengths and the classrooms are over crowded. Trying to get updates on grades or progress outside of report cards is almost impossible.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 2305 Georgetown Rd NE.

"The kids can play but the next door neighbor is a Karen especially to gay people she listens to everything you do or say. She is very noisy "

"Quick only 5 mins from just about any store and fast food areas, traffic is usually decent. Cars do tend to speed in the neighborhood areas though. "

"I drive everywhere for work anyway but I love that I can access both 62 and 77 just mere minutes from home, and that I can hear induction week as it happens, all from home. Knock on wood, thus far, I have been fairly happy here. "

"Canton isn’t the best. We have had a drive by within the 1st year living here. We have had our cars broken into multiple times. People coming in and out of our yard we barely know and storing their lawn mowers in our back yard. Looking to move asap "

"They would like it very much it’s nice. There is a lot of dogs in this area. The streets are nice and well kept. People go on a lot of walks and kids play outside. It has sidewalks and a lot of streets that are nice to walk around. I would think more than half the residents own dogs. "

"I've lived in Colonial Heights since 2006. The area is peaceful--the only chaos we get are transient cars moving from outside areas using us as a through-way--and the neighbors are awesome. I love the garage sales drive we have once a year, the plant sale, the flyers monthly to keep you up to date on what's going on, the FB page where neighbors communicate what's going on (excellent for power outages!), and the meetings at the church just a few blocks over. There's a library within walking distance, a Rite Aid and a Dollar General just up a little and just a short bike ride away is Giant Eagle. Down a dozen blocks to the east is a Walmart and shopping hub, and we're not too far from Belden Village. Mercy Medical/Cleveland Clinic is just 8 miles/minutes away by highway. Then also SARTA 103 runs down Gibbs, Colonial, and Rowland to help people keep mobile! I LOVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD!"
