  • Trulia User
"Walking and bike path access to parks and trails is available. Various housing style opportunities exist in this neighborhood. A community garden is here too. Getting into downtown is very easy. Traffic is mostly off major arterial streets."
  • Trulia User

  • Emma S.
"quaint but also populous and near downtown. good culture and friendly neighbors. lots of cute new puppies too!"
  • ISSAM I.
"Good parks. Schools aren’t highly ranked. Shortage of side walks is noticeable when taking walks and having to step into the road."
  • Nada_abdalah
"Safe place and friendly people 10 minutes away from downtown Convenient and accessible. I just love it "
  • Daniel R.
"Fitchburg has wonderful stripmall in-between Fitchburg, Verona, and Madison which is also near West Side Mall."
  • Hector R.
"The people who live here. The diversity is beautiful. Safe and welcoming. There are plenty of places to eat and go hang out at. "

"Owners don’t always pick up the poop, not because they forgot bags, but the choose not to. "
  • Leah V. D. L.
"It's just ok. Better then the last neighborhood I lived in. Neighbors are loud, children run around in the parking lot unsupervised. "
  • Jon N.
"The commute to downtown Madison is 12 minutes, this area is the perfect distance away from Madison where housing prices start to go down, but it is still easily connected to everything."
  • Angela S.
"Accessable to what I need, everything is super close to the apartment I live in and my neighbors are friendly. "
  • Brandon C.
"The area is okay, but it’s right on the edge of a sketchy neighborhood. Lots of nice houses with an older community not to far away. We are really close to the state capital bike path."
  • Capone
"When I first moved in,5 years ago, the neighborhood was very nice..now it's beging to feel less safe. I have noticed there is more crime now."
  • Kyandmitch94
"There are lots of other friendly dogs and plenty of walking trails in the area. It’s a very loafer dog-friendly community. There are also dog waste receptacles placed around the trails. "
  • 1saltwatergirl
"Not many kids where I live. Library is in walking distance. I don’t know much about the schools. The location is convenient. I wish the elementary school had better ratings. "
  • Leah V. D. L.
"DO NOT move anywhere near PIKE DR, COHO ST, LEOPOLD WAY, or POST RD. This is a high crime area. There have been TWO shootings in the last 2 weeks and another one on LEOPOLD WAY and POST RD the same day."
  • Natebrady029
"I just moved and it's ok, we live in not a great part by the new fountains apartments which really lower the quality of the area in my opinion"
  • Kaylan h.
"Our neighborhood is really quiet. Surprisingly quiet to be so close to roads and so many people. People seem friendly."
  • Blankenship e.
"Nice neighborhood. Lived here for a couple months and really like it. Yards are spacious and homes aren't built too close together. "
