I always know what is going on as teachers send out a weekly learning plan which helps me keep my kiddo on track. Updates to grades are frequent in the IC ap. After school activities are wonderful and part of what is keeping my son accountable for turning in all work. I do feel all his teachers care. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease don’t send your child whom has a IEP to this school!!! Run far away!!! I let everyone know how horrible the staff is here and how this school is like a reform school. Kids don’t laugh, have fun or enjoy school. You aren’t greeted friendly or kind. The principal is beyond disrespectful and treats parents horrible. He even threw my sons IEP at me! They degrade, discriminate against kids whom have disabilities ! We have filed now a discrimination complaint against them! It’s now pending! Mental Health told my son that he had privlages granted in his IEP. I have never experienced such horrible treatment in any school. Run please, if I can help so no child is their next victim like my son was. This is a small amount of what happened. They use behavior zones for kids whom are “ bad”. They belittle kids with disabilities . My Son deserves better! Please look elsewhere!! Beware !!Parent Review2y ago - Castle View High School

The teachers have no drive and give you a packet, the staff is entitled, and the security is always on a power trip. Vaz and Toliver are the only adults in the building that seem like they can actually tolerate teenagers. All the staff WILL hate you no matter if you’re nice or not. Terrible food, terrible teachers, and the students are even worse. I’ve received death and rape threats and have been groped at this school and NOBODY did ANYTHING!!! If you are a parent considering sending your kid here- DO NOT.Student Review4mo ago
