This is a great school which works with challenged students. The teachers really seem to care about student success and worry more about students reaching academic goals rather than strictly focusing on sports, as so many other schools in the area seem to do.

The school has greatly improved over the last few years by letting go of their previous principal and hiring a new one. While there are a few great teachers like Jody Smith who work hard to encourage student growth, other areas like the 4th grade class teachers and sometimes 5th grade teachers act as though they are superior not just to the students, but the parents too. It is so sad to see these teachers looking down on others in the community. Students know when they are loved and when they are not. If students can just make through to the 6th grade and beyond they see a wonderful world where teachers actually seem to care.
