"It’s quiet but when you do see a neighbor they’re very polite. I have never been aware of any kind of issues with the area. "
  • Brittany G.
"love the space between my neighbors and us, very peaceful living with beautiful views. private yard with a great place to raise our chickens and children"
  • Amber
"pros:peaceful beautiful country side, no one bothers you unless your calling for help, affordable, nice people as far as I know. cons: many car wreaks in area, commute to anywhere, back roads are not well maintained in winter. very few ify neighborhoods. I would recommend living here. "
  • Jillian W.
"This home fills a niche that few others do, priced in a range that's very hard to find in the Asheville area. It's in a peaceful neighborhood, lots of trees, good neighbors and a few cows and horses that add a lot to the "ruburb" (rural suburb) ambiance. The house and grounds are well maintained and easy to keep up. Very cozy...worry free and move-in ready. Perfect for anyone needing a bit more elbow room close to town. It's an easy drive, and Leicester has the least expensive gas in the county. With the county population expected to double in the next 15 years, Leicester will be a good place to invest in a less stressful future."
  • tlcolegrove78
"On items rated Average this is because they are accessible but you must drive into Asheville (approx. 20 minutes). "
  • tlcolegrove78
"Overall excellent place to live for the right person/family. On the items rated Average, this was because there is access to them but you must be willing to drive into Asheville (approximate drive: 20 minutes)."
  • Benjamincolburn
"nice area, accesable by several routes."
