"Easy commute to Canton or Jasper. With the new express lanes on 75 my commute has been wonderful! Easy traffic morning and evening."

"We moved here in January and the area is pet friendly so long as you leash your pet which is what good neighbors do. As far as kid friendly, yes it is so long as your children behave and dont destroy property. There has been some vandalism by kids and as far as I'm concerned if they made it a 55 and over community I would be fine with that. It is a beautiful area with wonderful ammenities."

"I live in Waleska and work as a Realtor in Cherokee County, including the Waleska and Lake Arrowhead areas. The are is semi-rural yet only 15-20 minutes to shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and medical care. Live theater is available in both Waleska and nearby Canton. Becky Babcock"

"I sell Real Estate here. it is beautiful, peaceful , and picturesque. The views are beautiful, the Club House is charming with great food, the lake is clean and the amenities of golf, tennis and pools are very nice."

"Good for the elderly, has many walking trails and a pool, the mailboxes are a couple of miles down the road, however families are NOT WELCOME and dogs MUST be kept on leashes at ALL times, there have also been complaints about cats running free in the neighborhood, animal control has been called by the neighbors on multiple occasions."
