The teachers work hard and are always willing to do what it takes to improve this school.

This school system is terrible. After many meetings with both principal and superintendent it is obvious they care very little for student safety or the success or failure of these students. Rules are arbitrary and enforced to extremes or not at all. Parental involvement is almost non existent and those that try to be involved are quickly shut down. A parent questioning the behavior of any staff will quickly ascend the chain of command and find they collaborate together and nothing is resolved beyond the same level 1 personnel decisions. Student supervision both on campus and on field trips is sadly lacking. Art, music, choir are nonexistent other than curriculum required art and music appreciation classes- which are a joke. Girls athletics are prized way beyond the boys and extreme favoritism is widely known and accepted as the norm. After struggling with years of issues with the principal, superintendent, various teachers and the counselor it is apparent that parents of good students who are involved and care about their child's future are desperately needed but largely unwanted at this district. If you can avoid this school system do. It is worth the drive to a better school.
