Newark school system is horrible! If you’re not in the right clique your children will not excel! Favoritism and exclusion is how they function! And the curriculum is a joke!!

aweful everbody that is here is incomitent and only listens to themselves

Kelley School has been a wonderful experience for my boys. They teach in unconventional and hands-on ways which allows children to expand their thought process and learn through doing. The teachers are engaging and know their subject matter. All teachers are required to have a masters degree within 3 years of beginning teaching. The special education department is phenomenal. The teachers care about the kids and nurture them to grow and develop. If you are basing your move to Newark on test scores, don't. As with most school districts, almost 50% of parents opted their kids out of taking the standardized tests, which in turn skewed the results.

If your child has a disability this is not the school for them. Save yourself the trouble and find a different school or homeschool the child. You children deserve better.
