Aptos is small beach town just south of Santa Cruz. Our cottage is a 5 minute walk to Rio Del Mar Beach, Venus Spirits Cocktails and Kitchen, Pixies (best breakfast burrito around) and a local market. We love our time in Aptos, but when we are not using it we love to share the experience with others. Here are some highlights:

- 40 minute drive to Carmel / Monterey

    "I use the Highway which is close to my neighborhood. Outside of that, the county bus system is the only public transit. The commute traffic is bad. Aptos is bikeable around the highway but there are many tight roads and can be hilly. "
