Solo cuídate de la directora. Es muy grosera y si te elige, para faltarte el respeto y le respondes cuáles en función a tus derechos como padre. Se pone a una, para que tu hijo repruebe el grado. No hacen nada, para El Progreso de tu niño, te llama por teléfono a insultarte y te dice que tu hijo no pasará de grado. En mi experiencia Octubre me trató de insultar de la nada!, porque estuve solo pidiendo un favor a la maestra de mi hijo y ella apareció de la nada a gritarme y luego en noviembre me llamó por teléfono y me dijo que mi hijo no pasaría de curso. En enero hizo una reunión, para decirme entre todos que mi hijo repetiría el grado (con tiempo de ellos poder hacer algo; si quieren que el niño pasara de grado), pero como la directora solo quería hacerme daño, pues esas eran las órdenes a seguir y así hicieron siempre. Los niños van a la escuela a buscar enseñanza y solo si la reciben aprenden, pero si la directora ordena en el inicio del año que ese niño va a reprobar el año, pues así lo verás en el mes de junio. La señora Ramos es una falta de respeto y solo cuídense de ella. Los profesores están bien, pero se manejan por ella lamentablemente. No le recomiendo a nadie este lugar. Varios padres me comentaron de que ella les llama por teléfono y les habla de forma muy grosera

Honestly, this is just the school people attend that can't get into anywhere else better. Top performers leave and the rest are low income, poorly behaved students. This is not a quality place to send anyone who wants to develop themselves for future jobs. They use alot of outdated teaching methods, with high turnover. It's just that the Riverdale area is nice, but 141 was never truly invested in nor embraced by the community. I truly feel sorry for the students that go here because they are surrounded by adults that don't believe in their potential. There are multiple instances of humiliation and bullying that are ignored altogether. How can a person develop properly in such an environment? The charter schools are a better option overall, with trained staff and discipline. There are very limited advanced courses, where future students can prep for college.141 is a dumping ground for everyone unwanted, and unloved.

I loveeeee this school sooo much. The parent coordinator is amazing. Not only does this school support the students, they also support the families in all aspect.
