About this House

This home was said to have been the original homestead for the area, sitting on 640 acres originally. Over the years it has changed hands and the land has slowly been sold off, now it sits on the very best portion at just under 2 acres. This home encompasses a more peaceful time, when a simpler, slower pace, happier and more honest life was abundant, and the American dream of years gone by. It has a quiet and peaceful dignity, and creates its own atmosphere. Homes like these are very rare, if not impossible to come by in todays world. Please notice the extreme amount of detail on the exterior of the home. The home sits at the end of a quiet dead end road, and has it's own stream, shop, and 3200 sq ft warehouse! Has gas force central heating furnace, and a fireplace. Yes, all 3 of the cupolas light up at night, and the cupola on the shop does as well. Large mature trees.
A complete remodel on the home was completed in May of 2017. Here is a list of some of the things replaced:
New SOLID OAK 3/4 inch flooring ( not a cheap laminate or engineered wood.....SOLID ). New carpet and pad, large master suite with walk in shower ( 2 shower heads with LED lighting in the head, all stainless steel appliances, secret attic room in the upstairs, double granite vanity ), 2 stair cases, VERY large kitchen and kitchen bar, vaulted ceiling in living room ( you can put in a large Christmas tree!!), large open dining/kitchen/living room area, new tile in all bathrooms and laundry room, new backsplash tile in kitchen and all baths, new sidewalks, landscape trim concrete, new patio, new concrete barbecue area, new insulated garage doors, new mantel and tile around fireplace, new solid 6cm granite counter tops throughout, new solid wood shaker style cabinets with self closing hinges, new interior and exterior doors, new door knobs, all new windows, new siding, new interior exterior paint, new drywall, new texture on drywall, new interior trim package ( craftsman style high detail ), New sinks, toilets, faucets, shower valves, shower heads, new interior and exterior light fixtures, new hand rail.
3200 sq ft steel warehouse built and added to property in 2018!

"Dog owners would like our neighborhood. People are always walking their dogs here, and they all get along very nicely. You don’t see any waste because everyone cleans up after themselves. It’s a very good neighborhood for dog lovers. "
  • david h sprague
"Great neighborhood people are friendly. Kids are riding bikes in the street. Children walking home from school unattended. Very safe and very patriotic "
  • Fuzzy.betzold
"I have lived here most of my life and it’s a great place to raise kids. Far to many houses being built and people moving in from out of state, I fear my days here are numbered "
  • Ellen K.
"I don’t commute I’m retired. The HOAs are very picky and stick to the rules. A very quite area to live in . Freeway is 2 miles away. High way 44 and 2/26 is very close."

The Trunk or Treat for Halloween was a lot of fun. A number of community Churches, the Canyon County Paramedics, Fire Dept. and local volunteers set up games, 4H ponies to pet, hot cocoa and chili..all free!!! Great community to grow up in. 😁 "
  • Krystle J.
"It’s a nice small town feel. I do wish we had a more affordable grocery store nearby, we have Riddleys- It’s expensive. There’s rumor that there’s an Albertsons and Winco coming into or near to Star. The high school my kids have liked. "
  • Trisadunbar
"The Fourth of July and Sat night movies in the park. People are friendly and it is a quiet peaceful community."
  • Kijana H.
"it's a really lovely place, so much freshness at night be there isn't too much light pollution. i know a ton of people now, and i just moved here in August of 2018. sad to say we will be moving out of state but Middleton is a great place to live. the commute to boise isn't bad either, there is so much to see! "
  • Nathan D.
"None, we have town events and it is a great place to live, plenty of Pokémon go sites, and walks in the evening and anytime are great"
  • Nathan D.
"I work in meridian, commute is long, but worth it. I love the fact the neighbors all look out for one another"
  • Anthony R.
"I live behind the skate park.. between the construction, green belt along the creek and the road noise along the highway it has been surprisingly loud. neighborhood is good, except for numerous people with vehicles having little to NO mufflers, blowing thru the subdivision at high rates of speed making a horrible racket. my neighbors are great, questionable house a few down but other than there guests bumping loud music it's fine. in conclusion: the market is overpriced for the area/neighborhood, however there are worse places to live."
  • Cindy H.
