The staff is very supportive, friendly and helpful.

I just love this school. We moved here from out of state and my daughter had some problems with kids picking on her at lunch. We understand kids will be kids but it bothered her enough for her to ask me to help get it stopped. I told the teacher the next morning and within two hours the school called me and said they talked to all three kids that were picking on her and then they brought her in and apologized to her as well. Then they said they let the lunch staff Also my kid is coming home every day telling me about all the things that she learns. This is so much better than the last school we were at!know about the problem and they will keep and eye on it. I love how it was dealt with, especially that it was dealt with in a timely manner.

This is an excellent school. One of my children is a recent graduate and another is just getting started. The teachers are amazing and the programming is wonderful. The environment is inclusive, warm, and accepting and yet high standards are the expectation.

Very much an area that is bias and receives special treatment because they know or are related to school teachers/officials. I do not think they really put much emphasis on education. Attendance is low and partially I believe due to the fact that they allow no structure for late or absenteism but then have ridiculous rules on not bringing a pencil to class. They do not listen to parents concerns and instead of dealing with major issues like bullying at school or on the buses, they rather shoo it away or blame all parties involved.

In my opinion this school would rather send the students to a alternative school then actually help them learn they have told me for 3 years my son needs to go to the alternative school I feel that is very wrong they should be helping him not making him feel bad

Not sure what the few other reviews are talking about tbh. The principal Mr Renfrow is fantastic. The teachers are amazing. And we love GMES! Lots of complainers who sit on there butts these days and don’t help, but this is a great school.

This is such a gem of a school to find! Absolutely love the staff and environment.

Both of my kids went to school hear and really had a fantastic, personalized experience. This school district may not receive the funding that the bigger schools in Colorado get, but the teachers and staff are very caring and the learning environment is excellent.. This is why we moved here. Small town values and a loving environment.

Went through this school years ago, but it still holds the best memories that I believe wouldn’t have been the same if I grew up in a bigger school/community. This school gave me many opportunities to get involved and be a part of teams and clubs. Made life long friendships that still hold today. Cedaredge is a special place. The teachers and admin were top notch! Thank you to the Cedaredge community. Hope to make it back someday to raise a family.
