6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think if you are a ‘typical’ student you will do well here but if you are marginalized in any way whatsoever you will fall through the cracks and struggle. I have two students here and the amount of harassment verbal, sexual, physical, and even involving a gun is ridiculous. My girls were not believed by administrators and the one time action was taken it was short lived. Any time they have defended themselves however the school has been quick to threaten them with expulsion. I have brought up grievances against teachers that weren’t taken seriously and were blamed on ‘female histrionics’. I have been discouraged from attempting to get a 504 plan for one of my children who dearly needs it and she has been threatened in private by the vice principal even though I have been asked to be present numerous times. My younger children will not be attending here because I have no faith in the school to keep them safe or educate them properly.Parent Review1y ago - Cason Lane Academy
