4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended this school 2 years. He's autistic and has ADHD. He said a child stabbed him with a pencil while I was out of town. My mom reported it and they says she can't get any info and she can't pick him up from school (I previously cleared this and verified she was on the list. It was only an issue after she mentioned this problem. This was the end of my trip). I basically decided to move after the principal did not make a report about it, and made it seem like it was not a big deal when I came to meet with him upon my return. Later there was another incident in which my son came home with scratch marks that were dripping blood on the back of his neck after I was assured (it was the same child that stabbed him) they would be forever kept separate. I mentioned it to the principal again in writing. He did not inform the staff of this incident. I went to field day and saw my son sitting directly next to the same child in class with their desks touching. They told me they weren't having problems any more so they chose to let them be together again without consulting me for permission after the stabbing. I also asked them for the entire year last year to show me what they are teaching my son. I got nothing but art work maybe once a month. No reading writing math. I stopped work to teach my son to read. It took 2 weeks. I even asked the principal in January after months of receiving nothing. Still continued to receive no work. I enrolled my son at a different charter school. He's been there 3 days. I was immediately notified of a slight conflict with another student. My son came home describing in detail how to craft a battery and power a light bulb with a lemon and some wire. I have NEVER seen him so excited about his education. Not only did they fail to teach him, but I noticed he regressed. After I taught my son to read it was months before his teacher even noticed. It's an actual shame what the school system here has become. Find a charter school or home school, or open enroll in a better county. It's embarrassing that these safety concerns were dismissed and only even documented because I demanded it. What a failure of our entire system.Somehow Hunters Glen was still a remarkable improvement on the last public school my son attended in this district. He escaped the school for hours and they didn't even call me until they found him in a creek down the road.Parent Review9mo ago13 Reviews - Century Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student but I will share my experience in Mountain Range High School anyway. I was enrolled to that school months ago and most of the teachers were nice to me (including my former counselor). My interactions with some staff/admin and students went well. I was happy to come back to that school until a few weeks later because On September 5th, 2025, I was doing a history test in another classroom with a few other kids. Several minutes later, This rude teacher checked up on those students and I to see how we were doing on our test and I told her that I was doing good then after that that same rude teacher told me to speed it up on the test because there was only 15 minutes remaining with a nasty attitude (even though there was another day to finish the test). Because of that experience with that teacher, I was scared of coming to that school because I was scared of dealing with her again. After that bad experience with her, she continued to be rude to me because I didn't stand up for myself. So teens if you are reading this review, If a teacher is rude to y'all, stand up for yourselves so that way they won't continue to mess with you. Parents if you are reading this review and you're kid/kids have IEPs or 504 plans, Please don't send them to this school because they will probably deal with the teacher that I had to deal with. Thank you all for reading this review.Other Review4mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 2219 E 129th Ave.

"People are friendly, and it’s a safe place to live. People are out walking their dogs a lot. It’s relatively quiet and pretty peaceful around here. Streets are well lit, and sidewalks/roads are in good shape."

"It’s quiet regardless of how many cars there are it’s peaceful, no loud music just crickets and birds. It’s as if the entire neighborhood is problay full of elderly hence why there are no loud noises not even at night. You may hear a car burn out if your outside from afar but that’s bout it. I see no other reason not to live here. I haven’t heard of any robins or killings in the area or gunshots, and no people using illegal drugs either."

"Trunk or Treat for Halloween. Thornton Fest in early summer. 4th of July fireworks show which is very unique. Pirate Fest in early autumn, at Webster Lake. Numerous Xmas lights all over the place, most notably, what my family has dubbed "The Box House", on Pecos St, just north of 100th. Numerous fireworks shows all over for New Year's. "
