Neighborhood Description

The Cabin at Table Rock is located in the northwest corner of South Carolina. This area is a premier vacation spot for South Carolina. Table Rock State Park offers a wide variety of things for the vacationer. All levels of hiking are available with over 100 miles of trails. Many shorter hikes are available to beautiful area waterfalls. Swimming, fishing and boating are also available. Take a tour at Victoria Valley Vineyards and taste locally grown wine. Golf at the Rock of Jocasse Golf Complex. For the serious fisherman, Lake Keowee (18,000 acres) and Lake Jocasse (7,500 acres) offer trophy Trout and Bass opportunities. Daily fishing reports can be found at the SCDNR (South Carolina Department of Natural Resources) on the web. Fine dining is available at The Amethyst Inn by reservation only. Aunt Sue's Mountain Mall offers many small shops selling locally made crafts from bird feeders to handmade quilts and also has a restaurant but is a bit on the pricy side. The Pumpkintown Diner offers great food a good prices and specializes in breakfast and lunch. This is where the locals go. All this as well as breathtaking scenery in almost every direction. Caesars Head State Park has an incredible view of the entire mountain range from a lookout perched high on the side of the mountain.
