5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Combre Fondel for all of 1 month and it was the worst month of his life. The teachers have nasty attitudes. The water fountain in the front had black mold around it. The kids there are mostly bully type project kids. I feel sorry for the few good kid there. My son was standing in the car line and a kid ran up to him and punched him in the stomach. Of course my son punched the kid back and the teacher got angry even though several parents told her the boy hit my son first. I went to the principal several times because my son was constantly being hit. I've told my son don't hit first but make sure when u do hit back you incapacitate the other boy. The school didn't do anything about the bullies nor the rude teachers. My son came from Charter School so he was advanced and he went right back to charter school. He wanted to try public school in Lake Charles and he's said that he never wants to go to another nasty public school. The teachers and learning environment is better at Charter Schools than this school. I advise any parent that has a good child that was raised not to tease or bully to take them from this useless school. Get them quality education with teachers that actually care.Other Review9y ago4 Reviews - Washington/Marion Magnet High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI always said discipline , the willing to learn and do the right thing starts at home. If you alow your child curse you out and be disrespectful to you at home.......guess what ....he or she is going to feel its ok to go off and do it elsewhere...we cannot blame the teachers and the school we choose to send our kids to for the down fall of our kids they are not there to babysit your children they are there to teach the ones that want to learn. I wish i myself could go back and do it all over but being that i cant i make sure i try my best to coach my sons on doing it the right way so they wont have the regrets i have, but all in all i think i turned out quite well for my self. #OscarGPete#Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 2207 Moeling St.

"All of my friends and family live here! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It’s great to be so close to all of the best restaurants, parks (such as the dog park), perf et area for runners, so close to the water (which offers fishing, kayaking, sunset watching, etc). I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!! #downtownholditdown"
