  • Jasmyn Blanchard
"The public transportation in Phenix city needs improvement. You must have a car or be willing to pay for Uber if you live in Phenix City. Traffic is not bad and it is quick to get around from place to place. "
  • Benita C.
"My job is currently allowing me to work from home but it normally take me 30 minutes to drive to my job in Columbus Ga. depending on where you like in PC you are 10 minutes away from everything "
  • Cthreadcraft.t
"Not good public transportation. Could use a large park in the south side. Needs more healthy grocery stores. "
  • Kellepropst1130
"It’s mostly elderly couples with a few small families. For the most part it’s a very quiet neighborhood. "
  • Josh
"Lots of dogs. And they bark constantly. And when I say lots of dogs, I mean it sounds like a dog pound outside. I’ve seen lots of kids around the neighborhood. Seems safe enough for them to be out and about playing in the streets. "
  • Kciepaul16
"Phenix city does not have covenants to protect you from seeing their junk everywhere! Also, around our home, most people do not have their dogs fenced in so you have to be careful while out walking or jogging. There isn’t a place to really take your pets either. Other than that, I have sweet neighbors close to our age who all have children at different ages and we feel safe in our home. "
  • Katherine N. C.
"It is average you are in walking distance of grocery stores and outlets. Good parks and ok schools. "
  • Primo 6.
"No dog park in the area to socialize your puppy...also would like more sidewalks and events I can bring my dog as well"
  • K_le05
"We don’t have a local dog park. The community park needs to be much larger and age appropriate for the children to play."
  • Diane B.
"In these days and times it is a must that you keep an eye on your kids. Know the neighbor hood and your neighbors. Parks are scattered throughout the area."
  • Richards M. B.
"Traffic is routinely horrible congested and ill maintained. Merging is a thing of the past. And it's always rush hour. "
  • Samuel A. E.
"The best school system in the state of Alabama with great of opportunities for children. The housing market has got better in the past couple of years. "
  • Diane B.
"No specific place for dogs, lots of kids running around. Definitely need a leash. No large dogs in apartment we are in."
  • Klindsey27
"There is a park near by. There are no sidewalks. Most people curb their pets. Everyone has their dog on a leash. "
  • Daniela M.
"This neighborhood is easily accessible from Columbus and Phenix City. Right off the highway. Great neighbors "
  • Klindsey27
"There is a park nearby. There is a pool in the park and a water pad. It’s usually quiet here. There are a lot of kids here. "
  • Gina L.
"the friendliness of the neighborhood. I like the idea that everyone is on a first name basis and they do watch pout for each other's honey and families."
  • Cheryl S. M.
"The kids on our street are "everybody's kids". If they start acting a fool....the kids know ma or da WILL BE TOLD so act straight! "
  • Jeff4529
"Halloween and Christmas are a big deal in my neighborhood. There’s a also a spring picnic for residents. People are friendly."
  • Karlee C.
"There aren't sidewalks so walking your dog is a little annoying. Not to mention the hills are very steep. "
  • Angela A. d.
"Since living in this neighborhood, everyone has been extremely kind and friendly. The first living place in a long time where that happens "
  • Bugzetete
"hmmmm , classical , jazz , basketball with guys , but really nothing much to here , no much activities I would like to engage with "
  • Dalton D.
"we have a old movie based on us. it's called sin city. it shows how gambling and gang violence almost wiped out phenix city completely."
  • Myelemalik
"It's quiet and my neighbors are very friendly. I have lived here for two and a half years and there hasn't been any problems. "
  • Jimmy D.
"Quite, friendly, and clean. One of the best High school within walking distance this is an up and coming area."
  • Ricks l. m.
"All the houses look alike. There's nothing else unique about this neighbor. There's no sidewalks. There's a lot of kids in the neighbor and the bus stop is in front of my house."
  • cmburton3574
"Not sure. It is not too big and the street is narrow. There are a lot of kids in the neighborhood as well. The library and the school are very close. "
