Have found the teachers to be very caring. Quick to return phone calls/ any concerns. I am happy with CES.

Terrible school terrible environment. They select who will or won’t succeed and don’t offer same to every student. If you’re lucky you can succeed. Too many cliques of teachers and administrators bullying kids. Horrible, sad that they did not go into profession with the right reason, it seems they went into it to make themselves be something they missed out on in life ignoring the core essentials of education all together

East Islip Middle School has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have had as a parent. The administration, particularly the assistant principal, has shown a consistent pattern of condoning bullying while punishing the students who are victimized. Discipline is applied inconsistently and unfairly depending on who your child is and who you know in this community.The assistant principal lacks the leadership, empathy and professionalism that students and families deserve. Complaints are dismissed and investigations are incomplete.I have had to remove all four of my children and place them in private school as a direct result of how this administration operates. No parent should have to fight this hard just to have their child treated with basic fairness and dignity.

My daughter went to RCK. She received a great education from teachers who really cared about their students. There is a very active and involved PTA as well as great music and art programs. My daughter thrived here and is now an honors student in the Middle School. The rating of 4 on "Great Schools" for RCK an absolute joke. The way they arrive at their ratings is a mystery to me. There is so much more to education than grades on standardized tests. Perhaps "Great Schools" should re-evaluate their system.
