The house is on three levels; the first level is a light filled living and dining room with a fireplace, two decks, one overlooking the Bay, the other nestled under tall pines, a library full of books, a kitchen, a bedroom surrounded by trees and a half bath.

The second level is home to two bedrooms and two baths. A washer and dryer also live on that floor. And the third level has an additional bedroom with its own bathroom and kitchenette and access to a garden humming with blue jays, home grown vegetables, and a hot tub.

The house, which is in a quiet, safe, lush neighborhood, is fully furnished, has hardwood floors throughout and nice big windows, a well-equipped kitchen for making tasty meals, and there is a television and a stereo with a wide assortment of CDs.

Dates are May 27 to August 28, 2025. These dates are somewhat flexible. But please note, this is a summer rental for three months only!

With a fabulous view of the San Francisco Bay, this home is nestled between Tilden Park and downtown Berkeley. This neighborhood is a paradise for bikers, hikers, artists, writers, and all who enjoy the quiet of hills, the soft fog at twilight, and the glitter of the cities below.

Walking through the streets of this neighborhood one is inspired by the varied architectural styles of its homes, the stunning gardens, secluded and maintained pathways that lead to streets above and below.

A bus stop is just a block away, BART is a ten-minute drive by bus or car, and downtown Berkeley is a half hour walk from the house.

This is a smoke-free home and we are accommodating a house-trained and well behaved pet at this time.

Lease is for three months only. This is a summer rental. From late May to late August or beginning of June to end of August.
All utilities are included in the rent.
No smoking is allowed on property.
There is off street parking for one car, and plenty of free, safe, street parking.
Well-behaved and house-trained small pet is allowed. There is $150 deposit for pet.
Bi-weekly or Monthly Housekeeping is required. Landlord has recommendation for a housekeeper.
