My children attended this school for 5 years and throughout those 5 years both struggled tremendously. I reached out about getting a 504 plan in place for my son and he was denied not once, but TWICE and they school failed to give me written copies for their reasons why and their evaluations even with ADHD diagnoses. Also threw my child under the bus stated he needed therapy multiple times which is non of their concerns, he’s there for academics. I moved my daughter to online school mid year because she was struggling to bad there and she’s excelled vs when enrolled at NWLE and plan to move my son asap the next school year. RUN RUN RUN. If you don’t know so and so or you’re not important in the community you are not important at this school.

If there were a 0 stars rating, I would give it to this school. I am appalled at the educational quality of the school. My child is in all of the highest classes, is in the top 10% of the class from a GPA perspective, but can not write a decent essay or score above the 50th percentile in English or 30th percentile in math on college entrance exams, even though he qualified to take a dual enrollment math class at a community college, where he earned a "C". He has taken them several times. Therefore, he can not qualify for the Zel Miller scholarship. My child does not drink, take drugs or get into any trouble. This is simply a school failing its most motivated students. It's sad.
