Welcome to your private backyard retreat in the heart of Redding, a home designed for those who love to live, gather, and unwind outdoors. Step inside to find a spacious, thoughtfully designed layout where the kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly into the family room, creating the perfect hub for everyday living and entertaining. A separate living room offers additional space to relax, while a versatile flex room can easily serve as a playroom, craft space, or even a fourth bedroom to fit your needs. But the true highlight of this property awaits outdoors. Your backyard oasis features a stunning custom pool and expansive concrete patio (installed in 2018), complete with an upgraded drainage system and sump pump, ideal for handling the seasonal rains. Enjoy warm summer days under the covered patio with ceiling fans, or take a dip in the solar-heated pool, extending your swim season from early spring through late fall. Wind down in the hot tub (added in 2022) and take in peaceful evenings under the stars. For those who love space and flexibility, the oversized, fenced RV parking accommodates up to a 39' trailer or 5th wheel. Not an RV enthusiast? This area offers endless possibilities, create an additional entertainment zone, set up outdoor games like cornhole, or design your own private retreat space. The backyard continues to impress with producing fruit trees, including lemon, orange, and peach, alongside raised garden beds with strawberries and artichokes, perfect for farm-to-table living right at home. Inside and out, this home has been meticulously maintained: solar power (2017), new roof (2019), exterior paint (2020), hot water heater (2018), updated kitchen appliances (2018-2023), and durable luxury vinyl flooring throughout. The kitchen features a large island, ample space for gathering, and a walk-in pantry. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Mountain View Middle School, Simpson University, and nearby Lema Ranch and Churn Creek walking trails, this home offers both convenience and connection to the outdoors. With quick access to Highway 299 and Highway 44, plus shopping and dining just minutes away, you'll enjoy the perfect balance of accessibility and retreat. Whether you're hosting large gatherings, enjoying quiet mornings in the garden, or making the most of Northern California's outdoor lifestyle, this home truly has it all.

"We live out in the country, we have 3 1/2 acres and electric fencing. We have a security gate. But we can be at the movies or Macy’s in 9-10 minutes. Parents should know to keep their children, pets and home safe with cameras and ADT."
  • Jennifer J. H.
"I lived in this neighborhood for 7 years. The only thing that unique was there is only one-way in & one-way out. So people don’t usually come up here unless they live here or are visiting. Seems to be a safety perk. "
  • Seema M.
"I see people walk their dogs around the area. I see also people running and walking daily. It’s close to Save More grocery store which have reasonable prices. There is gas station near by and pharmacy."

  • Mgardiner75
"Anywhere in Redding is approx 15 minutes. Car thefts are high. Theft in general is high. Beautiful city. We moved here in 1991 and the parks were safe for kids. Now, kids come upon syringes etc. making it unsafe. The homeless problem is horrible as they steal and are at every corner begging for money. I’m so looking forward to leave this city after retirement. Mount Shasta and SHASTA lake are nearby. Mt Lassen is also close by to the East. Beautiful areas for hiking. "
  • Susan W.
"U can walk around with your dog no problem owners use leash an pick up after their dog. People respectful"
  • Wendelyn L. H.
"I don’t know. I don’t own a dog or have any idea what type of neighborhood they need. We do have a dog park nearby "
  • Susan W.
"My truck stolen off my driveway 3 mos after I moved here do I have a bad taste here. I drive to work and have to pass all the homeless in the community park by the library n next to police station lots of fight I can’t go to library. People passed out on sidewalks downtown redding. Why do I pay taxes for police here they dont do much"
  • Lonewolf2kz
"not a place for the Family Herion Addicts Buy and selling freely in the neighborhood. have witnessed people cruising the streets buying proposing the streets to buy from them with out thought of the health and Well-being for the Children. "
  • Thadtreece
"We love the community and neighbors , close to the convention center, so lots of concerts and events close by."
  • Thadtreece
"We are close to the fireworks and kool April nights, concerts, the rodeo. We are close to turtle bay and the sundial bridge, and lots of river trail access."
  • Mgardiner75
"Quiet and well maintained. Partially away from the vagrants who are all over town. Would I recommend Redding to anyone..no, crime is too high, thefts everywhere and u can’t go out at night in some areas of Redding. "
  • Djaimommy
"Quite and peaceful. Neighbors all keep it themselves, but are very friendly. Close to the river trail and beautifully kept neighborhood."
