They provide zero support, they only want you there for funds, its hard to participate in the AP honors program, they discriminate against people who are different, the time table is excessively long, the people are so rude and hard to be with, they won’t put effort into adjusting your schedule, they don’t help you but avoid the big problem, the school is really old and the lessons taught are extremely slow,

The school is definitely above the average school in the country. This comes not only from the people that work there but also from the community. The kids are well behaved, bad behaviors are consistently discouraged, teachers and students use modern technology, the classrooms are well supplied, the love for reading is promoted, parents are always welcome to volunteer, teachers greet every student in the morning and welcome them in the building. Every parent has different expectations from the educational institution and one can always find negatives. This school, although not perfect, has many more good points than bad.

We are truly fortunate to have Mr. Paul Kobliska as the principal of our middle school in Berkeley Heights. Since stepping into this role, he has made a noticeable and positive difference in the school community. His leadership style is both reasonable and approachable, creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, and parents alike.Mr. Kobliska’s dedication to the well-being and success of every student is evident in the thoughtful policies he supports and the open communication he encourages. His friendly demeanor and genuine care make him a trusted figure in the school. It’s clear he is deeply invested in not just academic achievement, but also the personal growth and happiness of the students.We are proud to have Mr. Kobliska as part of our district and grateful for the steady, thoughtful leadership he brings. He is truly an asset to Berkeley Heights.

Our child has been a student at Mountain Park for the past few years. The quality of the teachers is inconsistent, some are fantastic and others are average. The principal is terrible. He is unresponsive to parents and unconcerned about the students. The schools caters to the special needs students to the detriment of the other students. Special needs students are permitted to disrupt classes and harass and threaten other students with apparent impunity. The facilities of the school are adequate. We moved to Berkeley Heights for the school system and so far are very disappointed with what we are finding. With respect to Mountain Park, we feel that a majority of our concerns would be addressed by the removal of the current principal.
