I have attended this school since kindergarten and even though my experience has had its rough patches, I have grown and maintained a tradition of excellence. Some people believe that Winfield is only about who-knows-who, and trust me, it is not. My parents are not well known and are not even from Winfield. Regardless, I am known and have leadership roles in various clubs. It is a proven fact that Winfield has GREAT scores, and I feel as though I am fully prepared to attend a university. Middle school was mainly where most of the problems were located for me, but due to changes, I believe student experiences have been altered and are considerably better. At Winfield, you have a choice of few, but highly successful extracurricular programs. The coaching and teaching is excellent at Winfield and students are treated equally in the classroom as well as outside of school while participating in activities. Teachers truly care about a student's success and are always free to help. A 20 minute activity period also allows for extra help, and many students take full advantage of this. I highly recommend Winfield to everyone.

I love this school, from Pre-K all the way to the 12th grade. Every single teacher, principle, coach, volunteer, the entire staff is awesome. My son graduated in 2017 and I now have a daughter going to the 1st grade. I wouldn’t choose any other school in any other city/state. The staff at Winfield takes the time to teach each and every student not only in acedemics (which exceeds every expectation) but also respect and discipline (which so many schools lack now days). The students at Winfield are some of the sweetest, most well mannered kids I’ve ever come into contact with. The staff makes learning fun, not boring, which helps kids want to learn so much more! Thank you to every single person in the Winfield City School system for helping us help our kids to become the best adults for the future!
