6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Grissom middle school is not the best. I thought that my experience Grissom middle school would be better than my 2 siblings experience. As in the middle school is not the best only a few teachers actually got me to learn that subject better and understand then and got my testing scores up. Other teachers are mean and i don´t understand almost half the stuff. Only one of the vice principal Miss.smit gets stuff done and listens to both peoples sides when there is an issuse. The other main principal and vice principal do not do stuff and only listen to one persons side. I really think that this school could use a lot of work like getting better teachers and better staff. The school also is always low staff and almost everyday we have a sub in atleast one of our classes. This school needs alot of work to be a better school. I hope within the next two years that i go to this school that it gets better. This school is not a good school.Student Review3mo ago6 Reviews - Sterling Heights Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had a great experience at this school and absolutely loved the diversity. It was a great opportunity to learn about other people who aren't like me. I had a great experience with the majority of teachers, and the teachers who weren't great usually just need some warming up to you. Respect is a huge thing at this school, I feel, if you show respect to teachers and staff, they will return it to you. It was pretty easy to get involved and really made my experience way better. There is a great leadership program that you can really grow from if you actually apply yourself and try hard. The athletics at the time weren't all that great, but I still enjoyed being on teams and getting that experience. I always felt safe at school, and we had a great SRO. I worked with the special education students quite a bit, and the staff was always lovely and accommodating to the students. I also had a great experience with the counselors as well, and I feel like as long as I was open with them and nice, they could help me in some way. I would say that the biggest thing is that, for the most part, if you're not receiving the services at the school that you're supposed to or expect, then you need to try harder in some way; they're usually very receptive and accommodating of all struggles at this school.Other Review2mo ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 2165 E Maple Rd.

"Layout of the neighborhood provided for enough space and privacy while houses don’t feel like they are on top of each other. The events are okay but enjoy going to them. "
