10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSPHS would like the community to believe that they are aligned with the levels of Mountain Brook, Vestavia, and Homewood. Do NOT be fooled. Kids are bullied incessantly here- by students and teachers. Admin is completely ineffective with the unbelievable amount of behavior issues. They hide so much of the wrongdoing at this school. For the money pumped into this school, it’s amazing how far their test scores have fallen in reading and math and on the ACT. They are falling further behind every year and no one seems to really care. I will never send another child here.Parent Review9mo ago13 Reviews - Shades Mt Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving kids at SMES for the past 6 years, this school has went from a shining jewel on the mountain, to an absolute miserable experience for both parents and students under Melissa Hadder’s failed leadership. If I had to endure one more year under this woman’s incompetence, I would honestly sell my house and move to a different school district. To those moving into the area, or unfortunate enough to have kids stuck at SMES, may God have mercy on you all.Parent Review5y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 2136 Pine Ln.

"The Preserve is a special and one of a kind community in Birmingham. The Preserve is a hidden jewel, surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodlands, and yet in the heart of bustling Hoover, Alabama, only minutes from Central Alabama’s finest shopping, entertainment and recreational facilities. Enjoy quick access to I-459, Highway 65, and Highway While some enjoy relaxation offered by the luscious lawns and pool of the 8 acre Village Green, others explore the Moss Rock Preserve’s 350 acres with winding trails and rock climbing among the waterfalls to be equally calming. From the classic American architecture to the picket fences laced with jasmine, The Preserve is the epitome of Southern grace and charm. Build a luxury custom home to your liking in this established walkable sidewalk community. "
