Construction of this unique home began in 1980 with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a kitchen, dining room and parlor. Many of the components of the original home were recycled from the original Fort Worth Post office building including marble features and antique raised panel wood doors. There are crystal chandeliers, leaded glass inserts, a marble front fireplace mantel and stain grade furniture quality oak molding throughout. Both original bathrooms feature reclaimed marble vanities, marble floors and the downstairs power room also features marble wainscoting.
