"It’s been very safe thus far for me, but it is starting to gain a lot of homelessness in the neighborhood so watch out for your kids."
  • Sai Manish Reddy Nandyala
"CSU East Bay campus is really good. It is well maintained and good ambience. Really good place to take a bicycle ride wherever you go. Cheers!"
  • Tiffanyahartley
"we need a dog park near by. There’s a lot of dogs and dog walkers I see every day. Atleast 2 dogs per person. It’s a dog friendly area. love it!!"
  • Ashley
"it’s the heart of the bay and a not hard to get to all the airports and different locations of the bay."
  • Ashley
"busy streets can be dangerous if your dog gets out. also, i feel like people would rather keep your lost pet than try to find its owner. "
  • Bitoart
"Meets at local swim club. Car shows in strip mall parking lot. Occasional block party on street behind us. "
  • Caitlyn Coite

"Must have a nice area clean have a driveway lawn backyard area of the barbecue parks not far stores not too far maybe a garage door opener, pet friendly"
  • Nicole
"Fairview is a beautiful area, but we have an unusually high percentage of retired folks. Most are friendly and great neighbors, but there is a group of bullies that like to cause problems with the working age residents. If you chose to buy a house here, meet all your potential neighbors before you make that offer."
  • Trulia User
"Beautiful quiet park neighbors connect walking dogs, morning tai chi, family picnics, birthdays, and playground. "
  • Trulia User

"You should have a car.. It's kind of difficult to get somewhere if you're in a rush. Cherry land is close by downtown, the freeway to oakland, the freeway to the San Mateo Bridge.. It's close by everything you need. "
  • Trulia User
"i have no idea they do different fun stuff each year. Hayward is really nice in this area and there are alot of schools, my best friend and i would take her brother and sister to school everyday and we'd have to go down mission and as long as your up in time traffic isnt to bad, only around 730-830am and 3-630pm is when the traffics the worsed. Theres also a couple of really big colleges around her that have lots to offer and tons of student housing. All down mission theres tons of shops and thirft stores and a very diverse group of restaurants and fast food all over. i personally love Just Potato Salad And So Much More. It's a little down mission next to Burger King, and it's great. It's definitely a must to try when you're here. "
  • Erwin
"I've lived in this neighborhood for three years. It's a mix of commercial and residential. While it would be nice to have some grocery stores and other food related businesses, it's not too far of a drive from downtown. Good distance from some hiking spots with great views of the east bay too."
  • Trulia User
"No community events. Everyone minds they’re own business. And pretty much everyone is nice to each other ."
