Staff do not how to appropriately communicate with students.Very unorganized and unprofessional.Gang assumptions are very inappropriate, Anderson High School principal is very two faced and can’t seem to be real about anything.Staff yes yet to be supportive or make anyone feel wanted.Anderson High School has yet to have a teacher who has made a student feel that they care for them and do what the student needs from them as a teacher.It’s very frustrating when teachers care less about you or about your grade.The teachers at Anderson High school do not put any effort to talk about if the student fails or not they put in no effort.With that the whole school is not an enjoyable environment for anybody.The assumptions that the principal has made against students about mental health has done nothing make others feel bad about them self’s.I feel that it is very important for a child to have a stable and supportive environment where they feel respected and feel comfortable enough to come to a staff member if they are having trouble.This school absolutely has done the complete opposite of that.Very embarrassing of how unprofessional that adults can be.I would not recommend Anderson High School at all.

2024-2025 Admin team really disappoint and leave little to no room for concerned parents to feel heard. Kids get unjustly punished, retaliated against and feel insecure with receiving help from bullying. The school counselor is not utilized as they should be and the disciplinary process is traumatic. We did 1 awful year at AMS and are moving houses just so we can attend a different school. Teachers and coaches have been just ok.

This school doesn't provide any supports for students who need them. Instead they call parents for ridiculous things, such as your 5 year old on the second day of school in Kindergarten won't stop talking. Really? What are you teaching them? If a student has an issue why not give them supports to make them successful? Parents and teachers should work together to make it a positive experience for the children. This school only want's students that are easy and not challenging. Well I have news for you... Children have changed and are becoming challenging. Get some training and learn how to help them!

Y daughter absolutely loves going to meadow lanes. My son also attended meadow lanes in their SDC and he loved going to school and enjoyed his teacher and Paras. They followed his IEP and he met most of his goals every year. The staff is amazing and so kind! I would recommend this school to anyone!
